None at all. Every event is designed for people who have never picked up a brush, and Dimitri guides every guest step by step. Experienced painters are equally welcome — the pace works for everyone.
What's included?
Everything you need to paint — canvas, brushes, acrylic paint, and instruction. Beverages are not provided. This is a BYOB experience at the studio, so bring whatever you like to drink and snack on.
How long is a session?
Most sessions run approximately 2 hours. The majority of that time is painting and instruction, so please show up on time (I often have classes before or after your event).
How do I book?
Go to the Book a Party page, review the options, and submit a booking request. We confirm availability and send a full payment invoice. Your date is secured once payment is received.
What is your payment policy?
Full payment is required to hold your date. We do not accept deposits. Events are confirmed after approval and full payment only.
Can I add guests after booking? Yes, additional guests can be added with advance notice. Confirmed group totals cannot be reduced after approval.
What is your cancellation policy?
All bookings are non-refundable. In cases of severe weather or emergency, we will work with you to reschedule. Make-up dates are available Sunday through Thursday.
How many people can attend?
The Tipsy Red Fox studio in Tempe holds up to 12 guests. For groups of 13 or more, we bring the event to your venue anywhere in the Tempe and surrounding area.
Can kids participate?
Yes. Children's parties are available for ages 6 and up.
Why do you need a venue contact for off-site events?
For restaurant, bar, and venue events, I need to communicate directly with the manager or event coordinator who oversees the space so we can confirm scheduling, access, lighting, water, entry and exit, seating, parking, and whether anything else will be happening nearby. This helps avoid surprises and makes sure the venue is comfortable hosting a painting event. In some cases, I may also recommend venues I’ve worked with before, especially if you need a larger space. Some venues may offer food or drink specials for guests, while others may charge room fees or food and beverage minimums, which must be arranged directly with the venue before booking.
